Regulations of the Thai Society of Agricultural Engineering

B.E. 2527 (amended B.E. 2560)

Chapter 1 – General

Article 1 This association is named "Thai Society of Agricultural Engineering," abbreviated "TSAE" in English and "สวกท." in Thai.

Article 2 The head office is located at 487 Lat Phrao Road, Lat Phrao, Bangkok 10230.

Article 3 The emblem features rice stalks and mechanical gears, symbolizing the union of agriculture and engineering.

Chapter 2 – Objectives

Article 4 The association's objectives:

  • Promote education, research, and development in agricultural engineering
  • Disseminate agricultural engineering knowledge to members and the public
  • Promote and develop the agricultural engineering profession in Thailand
  • Build cooperation with international agricultural engineering organizations
  • Conduct public benefit activities unrelated to politics

Chapter 3 – Membership

Article 5 Four membership categories:

  • Regular Member – Bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering or related field
  • Associate Member – Individuals working in or interested in agricultural engineering
  • Honorary Member – Persons with significant contributions, by executive committee resolution
  • Corporate Member – Organizations or companies related to agricultural engineering

Chapter 4 – Administration

Article 6 The executive committee consists of: President, Vice President, Secretary General, Treasurer, and up to 15 additional members.

Article 7 The executive committee serves a 2-year term.

Article 8 The annual general meeting shall be held within 120 days after the fiscal year ends.
